Welcome to Palos Verdes Estates
An exclusive upscale community along the bluffs
Lush landscapes and stunning ocean views are hallmarks of this exclusive community on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Part of the Peninsula’s five cities, it’s known for its privacy and luxury. It’s bordered on one side by the bluffs along the Pacific Ocean and most homes have uninterrupted sightlines.
Established in 1923, Palos Verdes Estates was master-planned by the son of the architect who designed Central Park in New York. Intent on keeping as much of the natural beauty as possible, about half the land has been maintained as nature trails, a golf course, and a stunning, undeveloped coastline.
Nestled amongst nature here are many luxurious, custom homes. They’re set on large lots, giving them a secluded feel. There are a number of architectural styles, but it’s primarily Mediterranean-style architecture along its winding residential streets, lends the community a European ambiance.
